We use seven areas of learning that enables us to map a child’s age appropriate progress towards school readiness.
Whilst all of these areas are of equal importance the exposure to each is dictated by the stage of development of the child.
We have taken the very best ideas from educationalist philosophies that include Froebel, Vygotsky, Montessori, Steiner and Reggio Emilia.
The result is a unique atmosphere of open partnerships that is developmentally apposite for adults and children alike – a unique curriculum that nurtures your child’s extraordinary mind. This is simply the Crondall preschool way!
For toddlers, we introduce in a formal way the specific areas of learning that match the learning styles and interests of each unique child. However, PSED remains a critical and large contributor to a child’s development.
Our teachers confidently respond to children’s ideas and interests.
We have faith that children are interested in things worth knowing about.
We help parents to be knowledgeable and creative members of a supportive educational team.
At the preschool age group the previous years enable all children to display the characteristics of effective learning such as resilience, engagement and a healthy attitude towards risk-taking – they are school ready!
At the very heart of our approach is our belief that parents, teachers and children contribute equally to the learning journey in a meaningful way.
